Anthony & Jennifer Proposal

NYC is known for its iconic skyline, which pretty much makes it the perfect background for a proposal. When Anthony reached out to have me photograph his proposal to Jennifer, a childhood friend, he knew he wanted the Manhattan skyline in the background. Unfortunately, I knew that the area by Jane’s Carousel had fencing up due to construction, so I suggested that he propose at Pebble Beach instead.

Gene & Stephanie Proposal

Gene and Stephanie had their first date in Central Park by the Jacqueline Onassis Reservoir, so Gene knew that wanted to propose nearby.  Although the original plan was to propose on the bridge in front of the South Gate House, he found a more secluded, romantic spot with a solitary wooden bench on a hill nearby, which he thought would be perfect to pop the question.

When Camille and David first reached out to me about their wedding a couple months ago, we discussed various location options that would be best suited for their intimate ceremony in Central Park. They eventually decided on the Shakespeare Garden, formerly named the "Garden of the Heart," a quiet but beautiful little spot near the Delacorte Theatre.

Ceci & Timmy's Wedding

Although we don't get to see each other often, due to the fact that we live on opposite sides of the world, Ceci and I have always been really close. As a flight attendant for Cathay Pacific, she flies to New York maybe once or twice a year, and we always have a blast when spending time together. So when she asked if I could fly back to Hong Kong for her wedding, I knew I had to go, event if it meant taking a week off work and missing class!

Jet Set: Paris!

Ever since I started taking French in middle school, I've wanted to visit Paris. I loved the language and I loved the history there. Being a huge musical theatre geek, I knew I had to visit the Victor Hugo museum as well as the Opera Garnier, which inspired Gaston Leroux to write Phantom of the Opera. So of course, I was super excited to finally get to visit over spring break!

More MAGIC!!

Magic the Play, written and produced by some of my friends, ran off-off Broadway from February 20th to the 25th. I've had the honor of following the production through various iterations and have also done the majority of the photography needed for the production, from the fundraising gala last summer, to press and production photos, to the post-show gala.
